Hebihanabiko is a Remless sent by Tiger's Eye to capture Pegasus. She can enter a person's dreams through the shadow of an item they possess. She appeared in Sailor Moon Super S Episode 8, A Teacher's Lesson.
Tiger's Eye sent Hebihanabiko to enter Pegasus (who, in the real world, is only a shadow) when he came to help the Sailor Scouts fight him. Tiger's Eye left afterwards, not noticing that it was Rini (as Sailor Mini Moon) who was falling asleep. Hebihanabiko attempted to tempt Rini into using Pegasus to rule the world (so as to drive him out of her dreams), but she refused. Pegasus awakened and sent Hebihanabiko out of the dream world, and Sailor Moon destroyed her with Moon Gorgeous Meditation.
Trivia
- Hebihanabiko is the second monster to enter Rini's dreams, the first being Grim Man from Sailor Moon R.
- Instead of legs, she has a tail which connects her to a shadow on the ground and can stretch any length. This is similar to the the Shadow Sirens, Beldam, Marilyn, and Vivian, from the game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
- Hebihanabiko is the first character to discover whose dreams Pegasus is hiding inside, but does not get the chance to tell anyone, as she is destroyed.
- Unlike most Remless, her task is to find Pegasus rather than fight the Sailor Scouts.
