Melissa is a girl who appeared in Sailor Moon R Episode 34, Child's Play. She is Rini's friend, but was put under the evil spell of Doom, when he was attacking Rini's school. Doom and his brother Gloom sent Melissa to attack Rini, but her crescent moon beam activated, healing Melissa. Melissa later took a hit to save Rini from Doom and Gloom. She survived, though, and Doom and Gloom were destroyed by Sailor Moon.
