Tuxedo Unmasked is the 37th episode of Sailor Moon. It was preceded by Last Resort and followed by Fractious Friends.
Plot
In Africa, Prince Darien appears and traps Rita inside the star crystal. He is currently seeking out the seven rainbow crystal carriers. He has already captured Game Machine Joe, the priest, and Hercules as well.
Later, Greg, who is staying for the weekend, calls Amy and tells her to turn on the TV, where she discovers that Peggy Jones has disappeared, as Darien has also captured her.
Malachite asks Queen Beryl why she is rounding up the rainbow crystal carriers, as the Seven Shadows within them were destroyed when Sailor Moon healed them. Beryl says that they can still use the power of the Seven Shadows to create an invincible warrior known as the Invincible Shadow.
The girls all meet up at the temple with Luna and Artemis, and Amy and Lita go off in search of Greg, whom Lita saw earlier. Darien gets to Greg first, but he escapes him and runs into Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter. Darien attacks them. Sailor Mercury gets Greg to safety while Sailor Jupiter fights Darien, who dodges her Jupiter Thunder Crash. Sailor Mercury calls the others for help. Eventually Darien walks off in search of Greg.
Sailor Mercury and Greg hide at an amusement park. Eventually Darien attacks them again. Sailor Mercury uses Mercury Bubbles Blast, but it has no effect on Darien, who captures Greg inside the crystal. With only Raye's grandpa left, Darien decides to fight Sailor Mercury first, and turns into Tuxedo Mask. Sailor Mercury uses Mercury Bubbles Blast again and takes the star crystal and shatters it, releasing the captured crystal carriers before Sailor Moon and Sailor Jupiter show up. Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter combine Mercury Bubbles Blast and Jupiter Thunder Crash to stun Tuxedo Mask, and Sailor Moon heals him with Moon Healing Activation. However, Beryl teleports him back to the Negaverse and begins to brainwash him again, erasing his memories. Sailor Moon collapses in grief at having lost him again when they just got him back.
Afterwards, Amy and Greg go to the amusement park and ride the ferris wheel.
